Vendakai Mor Kuzhambu

Ingredients
- Vendakai (Okra) - 6 to 7 chopped 1 inch thick
- Yogurt - 1 cup (not sour)
- Okra – 4 to 5 chopped into 1 inch pieces
- Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
- Chana dal - 1 tbsp
- Cumin - 1/2 tsp
- Red Chili - 1
- Coconut - 1 1/2 tbsp shredded
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves – few
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida - pinch
- In a kadai dry roast items, once it cools down completely grind it in fine paste by adding little water and keep it aside.
- In a same kadai add 2 tsp oil and once oil heats up add chopped okra and cook until stickiness goes off, now sprinkle little water and cook until it is soft, and keep it aside
- In a same kadai add remaining oil, once oil heats up add the tampering items and cook for 1 min.
- Now reduce the flame to low and add the yogurt and mix it well, now add the grind paste and add little water and mix it well.
- Now add turmeric, salt, cooked okra mix it well and cook for just 1 boil ( don't boil more than 1 boil)
- Now switch off the flame. Instesd of Okra even you can Neer Pusinikai, Chow Chow.
- Serve hot with Rice.
