Egg Thokku

Ingredients
  • Boiled Egg - 6 Slightly slit in the middle 
  • Onion - 1 finely chopped
  • Tomato -2 finely chopped
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Chili powder- 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  • Fennel - 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon - 2 small stick
  • Clove - 3
  • Curry Leaf - 1 string
  • Cilantro - few for garnish
  • salt to taste
  • Oil - 4 tbsp
Method
  • In a sauce pan boil the egg for 10 min, and keep it aside.
  • In a kadai add oil, once oil heats up add Fennel, clove, cinnamon and saute until splatter.
  • Now add onion, curry leaf and saute until translucent, now add tomato, chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric,salt and saute well.
  • Now ad ginger garlic paste and saute until tomato smashes and oil oozes out.
  • Now add boiled egg cover and cook for 10 min( don't mix it too much or else you'll break the egg) now sprinkle some cilantro.
  • Serve hot with rice or chapati or Dosa.
