Soft Chapati / Roti

Ingredients
- Whole Wheat Flour - 2 cup
- Salt to taste
- Water - as required
- Oil or Ghee - 1 tsp + to apply
- In a bowl add Whole wheat flour, salt, and mix it well.
- Now sprinkle some water little by little and mix it well.
- Once dough comes altogether 1 tsp oil and knead the dough for 10 min, more you knead the dough more soft chapati you'll get.
- Now the cover the bowl and let it rest for 10 min, for you let the dough to rest more than 20 min you'll get soft dough.
- Heat tawa on medium flame and on other side heat chapati griddle on high heat.
- Take dough and make same size balls and cover it, so it doesn't get dried.
- Dust some flour on the dough and roll 1/8 inch thick, don't roll too thin chapati puff up when you'r keeping on open flame. And it'll easily get crunchy, don't roll too thick, then it cook evenly.
- Now put rolled chapati on hot tawa let it cook 30 sec, then flip it and cook it for another 1 min.
- Now put the half cooked side on the griddle and wait until it puffs and some golden spots. It's perfectly cooked.
- Now take chapati and apply little oil or ghee to make chapati little softer , even if it is not hot.
- Serve hot with any Type of curry's.
