Kappa Kerala Style

Ingredients
  • Cooked Tapioca - 2 cup cubed
  • Onion - 1 finely chopped
  • Shredded Coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Green chili - 2 finely chopped
  • Coconut oil - 4 tbsp
  • Mustard - 1 tsp
  • Cumin - 1 tsp
  • Urad dal - 2 tsp
  • Chana dal - 2 tsp
  • Curry Leaf - 2 string
  • Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Method
  • In a kadai add oil, once oil heats up add cumin, mustard and wait until it starts to splatter.
  • Now add the urad dal, chana dal, curry leaf and saute until golden brown.
  • Now add onion and saute until translucent, now add green chili, turmeric,salt and saute well.
  • Now add cooked tapioca and mix it well, switch off the flame and add the shredded coconut and mix it well.
  • Kerala Style Kappa is ready.

Note
Coconut oil gives more flavor to the dish.
