Garlic Naan

Ingredients

  • All Purpose flour - 1 3/4 cup
  • Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • Powder sugar - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 cup


Toppings

  • Garlic -3 to 4 grated
  • White sesame seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Cilantro - few


Method

  •  In a bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix it well.
  •  Now add the wet ingredients except milk.
  •  Now add milk little by little and knead to soft dough.
  •  Apply oil in a bowl and keep the dough and cover it.
  •  Keep it in warm place for at least 3 hrs to double the dough.
  •  After three hours knead the dough and make it equal balls.
  • Dust the board with flour and roll the dough into oval shape(If you want little more bigger spread it with your hand).
  •  Now add the toppings and gently press the toppings, now flip the dough and apply generous amount of water.
  •  Once the tawa is hot put the water side down and let it cook until you see some bubbles,it"s about 1and half minute.
  • Now in another side gas keep it high flame and flip the tawa upside down and cook otherside for another one minute.
  • Once we get chared on otherside it's done, now apply little butter allover the naan.
  •  Garlic naan is ready.


Note
If we apply water to naan it will stick to the tawa, once we flip the tawa upside down naan won't fall down.
