Oats Adai

Ingredients:
  • Oats-2 cups
  • Big Onion-1/2 finely chopped
  • Carrot-1 grated
  • Capsicum(Bell pepper)(Red, Yellow,Orange)-each 1/4 cup finely chopped
  • Curry Leaves-2 string finely chopped
  • Green Chilies-2 finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil-3 tbsp
Method:
  1. In a bowl add everything expect oil, and mix it well by sprinkling some water. Let it stand for 15min.
  2. After 15min the batter will be mushy.
  3. Place the tawa on the stove, take big ball size in hand and put it on the tawa on medium flame, sprinkle some water on it and press it like thin patty and pour some oil.
  4. 3mins per side, once done flip over and 3mins on the other side.
  5. Serve hot with coconut chutney.  
 Note:
  • If the batter is not mushy, take 2 tbsp of oats and grind it fine powder.Add to the batter and mix it well.
  • I have added carrot and capsicum it. If you want, you can little beetroot for color.
