Mushroom Varutha Kari

Ingredients:
  • Mushroom-500gm(chopped)
  • Big Onion-1 finely chopped
  • Medium Tomatoes-2 finely chopped
  • Ginger and garlic-each 2tbsp finely chopped
  • Green Chilies-4 slit
  •  Red Chilly Powder-1tsp
  • Coriander Powder-2tsp
  • Turmeric-1/4tsp
  • Garam Masala-1tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil-5tbsp 
Method:
  • In a pan add oil, once oil heats up add chopped onion and saute well until translucent.
  • Now add the chopped ginger and garlic and green chilies , saute until raw smell goes off.
  • Now add the chopped tomatoes,chilly powder,turmeric,coriander powder,garam masala, salt and saute well until raw smell of the spice and oil separates.

  • Add the chopped mushroom,1cup water and cover cook for 20 to 25min until oil separates from gravy.

  • Garnish with chopped cilantro.Serve hot with Dosa.
